ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Business Support Program 2020

Yerra has partnered with the ACT Government to deliver the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Business Support Program. This ACT Government initiative is designed to provide support to Canberra based Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses through the COVID-19 pandemic.

We will be your first point of contact for any queries on how to help navigate your business through the COVID-19 Pandemic. We can refer you to a range of resources or help connect you directly with organisations and people who are able to support you and your business. 

As part of the program, we would really appreciate finding out more about your business, so we can ensure the materials we provide are tailored to your needs and directly helping you.

Privacy Statement

The following Privacy Statement is applicable to all the information you provide (‘material’) in the survey administered by Yerra as part of the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Business Support Program 2020 (‘survey’).

Who owns the material?

The ACT Government (‘the ACT’) owns the rights to all material collected from this survey.

Where will information be stored?

The survey entries will be stored in Survey Monkey. You can access their Privacy Policy here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/mp/legal/privacy-policy/

Most relevantly, Survey Monkey collects contact information, usage information, and device and browser data (section 2.2) for uses including improving services, troubleshooting, track behaviour at an aggregate/anonymous level and understand trends, and machine learning (section 3.2). Survey Monkey does not share information or data with third parties except those engaged as trusted partners to provide certain aspects of services (section 5). The data may be processed in and transferred or disclosed in the

The data collected from the survey will be stored by Yerra in a secure drive. Yerra will deliver all material to the ACT upon the expiration of their agreement, unless Yerra has otherwise been authorised to retain copies of the material.

How will the information be used?

The data collected from the survey will be compiled in a spreadsheet required for reporting to the Territory. Yerra has a limited licence to use this material for the term of its agreement with the ACT; the ACT has a perpetual limited license to use of the material collected.

Usage will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for Yerra to undertake the relevant services in agreement with the ACT, and for the ACT to obtain the full benefit of the agreement. This may include the supply, reproduction, publication, performance, communication, broadcast, adaption, and copying of material as the context requires.
